Our new paper shows that introducing a three-year grass-clover ley into conventionally managed arable land increases storage of organic carbon and nitrogen and is driven by soil macroaggregation. Read it here: https://t.co/LboiiH6feW

The @CranfieldUni stall is all set up ready for @Groundswellaguk starting tomorrow! Come find me at stand D34.5 to find out more about our role in the @Pulse_PEP NCS project!
Great to show off the glasshouse to @bofinfarmers this morning! Looking forward to seeing their video on YouTube of myself and @Dirt_Science explaining our role in the @Pulse_PEP project 😁
First stop - @CranfieldUni to take a look inside the @UKAgriTech 9-metre glasshouse and the work taking place here. Follow the @bofinfarmers YouTube to receive a 🔔 when the video drops explaining trial details🤔👀
A delivery of 18 cubic meters worth of soil has made this soil scientist very happy today 😄 Can't wait to use it for the @Pulse_PEP project, building lysimeters and getting plants growing soon! 🌱☀️ #Soilscience
A great day welcoming @WGClimateChange and @NatResWales to @CranfieldUni and a fantastic opportunity to see our amazing soil archive collection for the first time!
I highlighted our role in the NCS @Pulse_PEP project which should be commencing in the glasshouse very soon! 😁
Great to host @WGClimateChange & @NatResWales in the National Soil Archive @CranfieldUni this week
The #soil#data, #maps & derived information are used extensively for #policy & decision making in Welsh Gov
Thanks to my colleagues for sharing their excellent research!
Super exciting to visit the @CHAPAgriTech glasshouse at @CranfieldUni for the first time and start thinking about experiments we're running as part of the @Pulse_PEP project, looking forward to getting started! 🌱💡
Thank you to @ADASGroup for a brilliant couple of years. I've really enjoyed every experience and the great people I've got to with.
In the new year I'm moving to @CranfieldUni to work on the @Pulse_PEP project with @Dirt_Science. Excited to see where this next chapter takes me🌱
Great turnout at today's @ADASBoxworth Christmas lunch, cake competition, and raffle to raise money for @EACH_hospices. Prizes presented by Santa's Boxworth representative Harry the elf! 🎁🎄
We also waved goodbye to @emilyjguest who off to @CranfieldUni, best of luck Emily!👋
@ADASBoxworth@ADASGroup Lovely photos of the Boxworth team! Thank you for all your hard work on the Physiology trials this week, was really great to see the lab so busy with them 😁
Day 3 of #ECPA2023 was about integrating approaches to PA, followed by a field trip to the local Agritech project, showcasing cooling of wine grapes with misting, weeding and tracking fruit number, size and temperature 🌡
Day 2 of #ECPA2023 was all about crop sensing for me - yield monitoring and prediction for precision nutrient management was particularly interesting! Also had a demo on AgriSim used for education and testing of PA tech, GPS guidance steering definitely helped my tractor driving!
This week I'm at my first ever international conference #ECPA2023 with @ADASGroup. Very inspired by talks about the future of precision agriculture, gamification of PA via mods @farmingsim, farmer-led on-farm experimentation and all the applications of PA for nutrient management
I'm presenting a poster on using drone and satellite data to measure and enhance on-farm experimentation in grass systems using our @ADASGroup#agronomics approach
Had a fantastic three days at the @AABiologists Long-Term Experiments conference @Rothamsted. Here I was presenting a new poster celebrating 10 years of @adasYEN by explaining its four pillars
We also got to see inside the Rothamsted sample archive. Seeing samples collected in the 1800s was fascinating 🤯 Also the museum with replicate old labs, an ANOVA machine and old wheat lines which were as tall as myself!
Had a fantastic busy week with the @ADASRosemaund field team getting lots of spraying and disease assessing done in the gorgeous Herefordshire weather 🌞
