This set was so much fun and I love how the mini frame looks. The LEGO Dots are a combination of following the instructions per usual and adding your own creative twist! 🌈🎨

The SciPy Conference is finally here!! I love coding with Python. I started in 2017 and mostly did small Python projects for work at the #usgs when I was learning. Now, three years later my job is Python programming… https://t.co/3qr83xdAph
Two years ago, I met my boyfriend @Ross_con_leche at the @SciPyConf. We were both Hydrologists who code, current/former @USGS scientists, and clicked right away. We consider SciPy our anniversary because that's where we met and Python is a big part of us! @SciPyConf is magical!
I just finished a #groundwater drawdown app that uses the Theis equation to determine how much the groundwater level decreases in one location caused by pumping from another location. It's even #mobile friendly for groundwater calculations on the go! 🤓 https://t.co/Bxbgjbye29
Over the last few weeks, I've learned SO MUCH about building and deploying web applications! Web apps are literally so fun and so useful! They allow for quick and interactive data viz, which can be used in any industry. #datascience#dataviz#analytics#dash#plotly#bigdata

I've created my own analytics company, https://t.co/zL4Tvyhl3L! My focus is in #datascience, #GIS, interactive web apps, #dataviz, and more. I am a scientist focusing on data accessibility and interpretability so that scientists can focus in on what really matters - the science!
Pearl Street Analytics is an Austin-based company founded in 2020. I have experience working across industries and disciplines solving a wide range of problems. As an interdisciplinary scientist, I can't wait to help your company improve upon your analytical capabilities!
Scikit-learn finally introduced an API for plotting! https://t.co/LdbG8UeuLO So far we only have roc_curves but I think within the next couple of week we'll have lots of good stuff!
This always used to mess me up (and still often does)! Now I always ensure the lengths of my data look the way they should. Great tip! #datascience#oilandgas
Pandas tip (reminder to self...): After a join add asserts to confirm sizes are the same. Else duplicated indices (I know, I know) go bite you with an expanded dataframe. Better tip: just put asserts everywhere checking everything you believe
@leonpalafox My thesis adviser is 100% on board and my data science thesis is underway. I'll definitely keep this is mind and have some exciting data science application examples ready next time!
It's been a year since my #Python talks at the @USGS, where we discussed #whyPython, #automation, and #GIS. Science accessibility and automated workflows with Python are the future! Find me on GitHub for more resources on how to get going with Python https://t.co/1r4qY5h8ZD
#FriPy happens every two weeks at the @USGS_Texas Water Science Center. Sharing knowledge and methods helps our staff #innovate and sharpen technical skills. Thanks Emily for a great discussion! #educate#python#programming
