Received this lovely handmade gift from a patient today to show me how well she is doing following her wrist fracture! Straight on the tree it goes! 😌🌈 #functionfirst
@SeunOT1 I’m sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye properly. You have been so fab and a pleasure to work with! Good Luck in the rest of your studies and your future OT career 🌟
Well that’s my ED rotation done ☑️
A very big learning curve for me, so many new skills developed and existing ones built upon. Thank you to my awesome @TherapiesPah colleagues for their continued support and encouragement!
Now off across the pond to medical I go. ☺️

Catching up with #hospital and so lovely to see @dementia_physio featuring in the episode! Also great to hear @GeriSoc pledge of funding for reablement specifically to support frail patients in their recovery from COVID-19 https://t.co/XIqjBWPNP2
Another week has flown past but the thank you’s are just as important.
A shout out to all our therapy staff who have shown great dedication, resilience and flexibility in the last few weeks both for innovative practice with patients and the enhanced 7 day service. @NHSHarlow
Sat and had a little tear with a patient today, she told me of her worries and bad dreams and I shared with her mine. In this scary and uncertain time we both drew comfort and reassurance from each other knowing we’re not alone. 💫
Attended a fantastic deaf awareness course today and even learnt some signs! Another tool to aid my communication in practice. Massive thanks to William, Paul and their interpreter! #DeafAwareness#BSLcourses
The saddest thing about physiotherapy right now is that so many physios would rather go on a course for taping, accupuncture and the latest manual technique rather than a course developing their fundamental communication skills and understanding of pain 😔
Change Agents are boat rockers
Sometimes clinicians lose their grip and fall out the boat
Sometimes it’s organisations that push people out of the boat
Regardless the best leaders will be able to pull the fallers back in the boat and get them rocking again💪🏻
