@robshpprd @drheathrose @Edumcgill @OxfordDeptofEd It was a quote from Swain in 90s that Roy used to emphasise a public ideology that immersion schools alone will do the job of language improvement in Canada. I've seen same beliefs in my own EMI research - i.e. EMI automatically leads to lang improvement
