@merlinthequack Sorry for the delay, but given that list of apps, I don't expect a 9950X3D would be mind-blowing. 285K prob better w/ AE and C4D, and CPU irrelevant for GPU Blender. If you game or do Unreal Engine, I'd hold out to see if rumors about CES 9950X3D are true.
@BretDevereaux The companions definitely feel, in general, more like actual adults. I think what throws me is that Veilguard feels more Tolkien-esque in terms of strict(ish) "Good v Evil" than previous DA games, which were more Martin-esque "everyone sucks, and we're going to show it".
@dapoets@OMENbyHP@PugetSystems@intel@AMD Interesting! I've found significant performance differences between Balanced and High Performance windows power profiles. What have you been testing with, because I'm curious if that would make a difference in the "feel" of the application.
I'm replaying PoE and getting re-hyped for @AvowedtheGame (only 6 months, right?), but also can't imagine an Obsidian RPG w/o an @sonic_presence soundtrack. Definitely one of my favorite composers in this space.
@GavinVerhey I think it very likely this will need to be banned but my pref is to give it some weeks to see how the decks evolve just to be sure.
I know there are some large tournaments coming up though, and would rather they have a good metagame then that I get to play with another cranial.
@GavinVerhey The communication you and the rest of the PFP do around bannings (or lack thereof) continues to be one of the best things about Pauper as a supported format, so thanks!
Also, rip janky stickers decks.
@miktdt@PugetMattBach@intel It was launch drivers (3490) vs recent drivers (4644). I was a couple days late of hitting *most current* drivers b/c of Intel's Starfield driver updates, but my testing shows no difference in any of these apps between 4676 and 4644. I'll add them to the article.
