It’s not every day that your students get to meet with a microbiologist from Ireland to help you out with a nonfiction unit in Mr. Freeman’s English class, but that’s what happened @SpartaHSTrojans today!

Friends of the Christian County Library presented SMS with a $200 check for winning the Christian County Library card drive. Because of this effort, more of our SMS students & staff now hold a public library card. We look forward to the opening of the Sparta branch in spring!

Participated in Skype a Scientist from our couch this morning and learned about gray wales. Miss doing this with a library full of @SpartaMiddle students, but it’s cool that @skypeascientist is offering sessions for families while we’re homeschooling!
