2 #Emazing acts of kindness recently. Haribo left on an ambo windscreen & biscuits being brought to station by a local family. We appreciate the support & gratitude (and enjoy the snacks of course!) 😍 @EMASNHSTrust
The weather is hot and with the summer holidays fast approaching let's not find ourselves victim to these tragic events. Speak to your children make sure they know the risks and effects to family, friends and the #999family

@chrisianstevens@GoodSamApp@EMASNHSTrust Until you’re used to the noise it makes you may not realise what it is at first. Then it will start making you jump out of your skin when it goes off. Helps with the adrenaline for the job though 😊
This is my cold cup of tea. It’s ok that it’s cold. It’s cold because I ditched it to attend a @GoodSamApp. I was on scene in less than 60 seconds providing critical care. The GS app is an incredible tool & @EMASNHSTrust support their colleague in using it. #NeverOffDuty
@Hyde_Chris_M @GoodSamApp@EMASNHSTrust It scares the life out of me no matter what time of goes off 😂
Proof again that it works in helping to save lives. Well done Chris. 👌🏼
Woken up just after 3am by my phone alerting me to someone in cardiac arrest near my house. Heart sink knowing I’m no use being 25 weeks pregnant with bad sciatica. Thankfully a CFR arrived on scene and have since heard they got a rosc.Amazing! We owe so much to our CFR’s. #Heros
5am is around the best time of a night shift. End of shift in sight, no cars or people, sun rising on another day. One of the few perks of the night shift 👌🏼 #ShiftWorker#Ambulance#StillRatherBeSleeping
@DrLindaDykes I appreciate your tweet. I don’t believe there’s anything identifiable about patients / locations in this tweet and nothing to say which day this happened on. Just trying to give people an insight into the role I do and the varied jobs we attend.
This would have been terrifying for all involved, but seeing stories like this, spreading the word about how important Defibs in the community are is vital. Do you know somewhere that could house one? Get in touch with your local CFRs or @EMAS_CFR#DefibrillatorsSaveLives
Sat here pondering how random life can be. Yesterday I had a lovely family day out & within minutes of being home I received a @GoodSamApp & was doing CPR in the street until my colleagues arrived. I carry a #defibrillator & an airway mask which I deployed. #NeverOffDuty#GoodSam
There are great opportunities to collaborate across the health and social care sector and I want EMAS to play a leading role - find out what EMAS's new medical director Dr Leon Roberts has to say about the future of @EMASNHSTrust https://t.co/5BmCgLB9XC
Getting a call to a baby not breathing is the worst job imaginable.
Luckily a lot of the time it’s not the case, I’m thankful that today baby was in fact alive and breathing. I then had to remember to breath myself. 😳 #Ambulance #999
Today I witnessed a member of the public doing CPR on a total stranger. An absolute hero who was instrumental in helping us to save his life.

Little bit of standby in Northampton today with my crew mate @Raceyyy and #CFR observer @2gvlee. Whilst taking this selfie a man knocked on the window to shake our hands & thank us for our service 😊 #EMAZING#Ambulance#999family
As part of our learning CFRs get to do observation shifts with ambulance crews. Today @2gvlee is out with the lovely @Emma_Ambo and @Raceyyy learning the ropes. #SNCR
Proud to have played a small part in Amelia’s story. Amazing efforts from all on scene an incident that would always be with me but now for very happy reasons thanks for tagging me Jo, you were awesome that day!
