There are shortages of GPs because NHS England has failed to fund GP practices to retain, employ or increase their capacity
A cut in funding by 20% £/patient in the last 8yrs & investing in other roles instead, we now have unemployed GPs who are unable to get work
@NickTriggle
So disappointing that our ICB regards addressing underlying health inequalities for women as discretionary spend. The £28m funds for Women’s Health was supposed to be ring fenced.
