TOP GUN 2: MAVERICK: brazen military propaganda, but very entertaining propaganda nonetheless. Miles Teller both played the piano and frolicked shirtless in the film, so I had a great time. 7/10.

By the way, Google AI is absolutely awful if you test it on BBFC knowledge or ask about controversial BBFC decisions. Does anyone know why Google AI is so crap for this?

I’m tempted to email the BBFC asking for an explanation, but I have a feeling they’ll just copy pasta the extended insights for the two films to me. 🤔

I watched ETERNITY recently as part of my duties as a card-carrying Miles Teller fangirl. It amused me how the dialogue kept banging on about his gorgeous Dua Lipa’s husband was in it. What’s Miles Teller, chopped liver?!

So I definitely don’t see how the BBFC could judge ETERNITY’s sex scene to be strong’s when HAMNET’s was supposedly moderate, and HAMNET had nudity and ETERNITY’s didn’t. Another very inexplicable BBFC inconsistency between rating films.

Olivia Rodrigo’s new song ‘Serena Joy’ is so well-timed, given the tea about Milo Yiannopoulos (previously, all for ICE and whatever callous manner they acted in), himself getting deported and now whining about his experiences.

He should listen to it and reflect on the irony.
