Agreed! My daughter volunteered as a 17 year old for the NHS in hospitals and vaccination centres. She’s now studying nursing. Stop under estimating this generation. Invest in education and the NHS.

Instead of ignoring fact that young people already volunteer & then spending £2.5b a yr on a National Service scheme for 18yr olds, why not use it to lift children out of poverty, invest in schools, fix the broken care system, and put cash into our mental health & youth services?
