YA Why are you going on Netflix to watch K-dramas in English?
What happened to watching them in Korean with subtitles?
If you want to watch an English series, go and watch one.
But K-drama? Best experienced in Korean with the emotion, the tone, the little voice cracks, the way they say names. Subtitles on or off, I don’t care. But the original language? That’s part of the magic.
How do you expect to enjoy “shibal” in English? Or “gae‑saekki” in English?
Aigooo You must feel it in Korean, you must hear it, you must live it.
What a privilege to be tired from work you once begged the universe for. what a privilege to feel overwhelmed by growth you used to dream about. what a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose. what a privilege to outgrow things you used to settle for.
If you can, please go and see the world, experience different cultures, their food, the people …. it opens up a whole new side of you. It’s the best gift to yourself.
