📍Durham, NC
Today marks the end of my first week in the Master’s of Management Studies program @DukeFuqua. Truly could not be happier or more thankful for this opportunity — can’t even begin to express just how much this means to me.
Dreams into reality 💙🏰😈
The narrative that Jon Scheyer is just a recruiter has made zero sense for the four years he has been a Head Coach
His teams have had elite culture, he has gotten players better, AND he has been running High Level Sets like this
(Via @CoachHackGO 🎥)
Jon Scheyer at Duke:
Culture: A+
Offensive execution: A+
Defensive scheme: A+
Toughness: A+
Recruiting: A+
Growth Mindset: A+
All while representing Duke at the highest level with respect, humility and appreciation - this video is him every day. Duke is incredibly blessed by Jon & the elite hoopers wearing that jersey.
Jon Scheyer in four years as a Head Coach:
• 121-24
• 3x ACC Tournament Champion
• 2x ACC Regular Season Champion
• Final Four
• 1 ACC COY
• TBD 2026 NCAA Tournament
Not too Bad for a guy who is “Just a recruiter”
Since Jon Scheyer took over as head coach, he has been tier 1 elite and has gotten no credit. 3 wins away from setting the record for the most wins for a head coach in his first 4 seasons.
National Coach of the Year
This is the play Scheyer drew up after the media timeout when the offense had stalled and it was a 1-point game
Its inconceivable he's not in every conversation for Coach of the Year
Scheyer is so, so good with the X’s and O’s.
Doesn’t get enough credit for it, but he’s legitimately one of the best on-court coaches in the game. Duke has run some cool stuff (and cool counters) tonight
