NEW RESOURCE: Just something I’m experimenting with. Using power and conflict poetry as a stimulus for writing. Thought I’d post in case it’s useful! Use/chuck/change as you see fit. https://t.co/8nYr12NTod
I have made booklets for every scheme in every year group and revision guides for literally everything on the papers this year. I have crowned myself the queen of making things look awesome.
NEW 🚨
SIX AQA Language Paper Packs
Using the AQA KS3 packs
Each one has:
✅ Insert

The idea is students should be able to access them independently to build confidence with the Q styles.

A one-pager with bits that I want students to remember for the GCSE English Literature exams. It’s obviously stuff that needs to be expanded upon, but it should hopefully be useful as the basis for a final lesson or two before it all begins https://t.co/x22osoukof 🖊️
Finished teaching #Macbeth to my top set Y10 last week - Tomorrow we do a knowledge check, then we plan for an essay! Hoping to get them pushing conceptually by considering the tragic structure of the play. #gcselit
I’ve spent *ages* over the years trying to get the whole feedback sheet thing right for English Language, so here’s my latest iteration for P2... https://t.co/Y0hnts85Hp The link to the paper it’s based on is also included 📰
