It was an incredible moment for What Girls Want TZ to commemorate Menstrual Health and Hygiene Day with girls with disabilities. We look forward to collaborating with other organizations to amplify girls' voices. Thank you mewata_studentschapter, for showing up.

Earlier today, I had the opportunity to attend a physicians' conference. The key takeaway from Prof. Janabi, the WHO Afro Director was the importance of collaborating with other stakeholders to address the problem of NCDs, which are often referred to as the 'silent killer.'

VIVA MEWATA VIVA🥳🔥
This Mother’s Day, we honor the love and resilience of mothers everywhere. But behind the smiles, too many endure gender-based and intimate partner violence (GBV/IPV), often in silence.
For some, pregnancy and the postpartum period bring not peace, but increased vulnerability. Integrating GBV screening into routine antenatal care is not just a medical responsibility; it is a moral imperative to protect the lives, dignity, and wellbeing of mothers.
Let’s celebrate mothers not just with flowers, but with action; ensuring their safety, support, and health every day. #MothersDay

Yesterday, I was excited to attend the "Win and Learn" pre-event training. It was highly useful, highlighting key points presenters should consider. I believe the presenters gained valuable insights on making their presentations impactful for both the health field and society.
