Caitlin Clark, WNBA Rookie of the Month in July:
✔️ 1st-ever rookie triple-double
✔️ WNBA leader in APG (8.2)
✔️ franchise record, assists in a season (213)
✔️ WNBA record, single-game assists (19)
✔️ WNBA record, most double-doubles in a season by a rookie guard (9)
Okay, this IS HATING on Caitlin Clark. Face guarding, extremely aggressive play and the occasional hard foul can be describe as competitiveness. Going out of your way to call her out of her name and body check her to the floor without the ball is HATING.
Hey, @nike! My wife is a physician and dietitian, has four kids, is a track coach, and runs a busy household while maintaining great exercise and eating habits.
How about giving her an endorsement deal, instead of a skinny dude in lipstick?
If @NCAAVolleyball isn't the most exciting, athletic, highly skilled, most impressive team sport in America, I truly don't know what is. Also, how is this ENTIRE tournament not on @espn? My goodness gracious!!!
Congratulation to our volleyball student athletes!!

Sports do not define you as a person. Athletic failure doesn’t make you a bad person, and athletic success doesn’t necessarily make you a good person. Always remember that you are more than just an athlete!
Things you can control in games:
• Effort
• Attitude
• Self-talk
• Attention
• Execution
Things you can’t control in games:
• Winning
• Refs
• Fans
• Your opponent
• Bad luck
• Weather
• The past/future
To play your best, focus only on what you can control.
Busters win in three over Yavapai College. They went 2-2 on their trip to Yuma, AZ. They will be back on the home court Wednesday, August 31st vs Dodge City.

If you're not willing to give solid effort during practice, why even show up? Going through the motions won’t help you improve. The purpose of practice is to improve, not just to show up and say you did it!
