I think the most impactful things the UK can now do are:
1️⃣Stage a full, frank, public science briefing in Parliament. Get the honest assessment of what we're facing—and what our options are—into the public domain and the press.
2️⃣Pass the Climate & Nature Bill #CANBill for legally-binding science-led action. @zerohour_uk

These two things will reverberate around the world, inspiring others to follow. They will even have an impact on the US where the states have a lot of autonomy.

What's desperately needed is for a major developed nation to show the world that a rapid decarbonisation is possible - and that it will create huge savings, large numbers of jobs, boost happiness etc.
