Momentum growing for Ontario Place Protectors Supreme Court hearing on October 15, 2026 against Doug Ford's dictatorship & PC MPPs who voted for Bethlenfalvy's Bill 154 & Stephen Lecce's bill 5 that cancelled an environmental assessment at Ontario Place.⬇️

For those who don’t know. The @OntarioPCParty allows private for profit clinics to bill OHIP 2-3X what it pays public hospitals to perform the exact same procedures. All while waiting lists get longer and longer. Just a reminder that voting in provincial elections matters.
@nejsnave I was once in the ODSP office in Toronto when I got so upset as a woman in front of me was crying as she was hungry and was going to lose her place as she could not afford it anymore and wanted to know why her application had been denied. She was told she needed more doctors 1/2
It's hard to take @Dave_Eby seriously when he's literally cutting supports to thousands of Disabled kids in #BCPoli - which will cost their families, #BCEd, and #BCMed MORE down the line.
To say nothing of provider jobs being lost due to said cuts.
Who do they stand with?
READ BILL 97 FORD is FUNCTIONING as A #DICTATOR NO ONE CAN TOUCH HIM…UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD A HIGH PRICED LAWYER…OR YOU CAN INFLUENCE ALL ONTARIO TAXPAYERS TO SHUT ONTARIO DOWN UNTOIL HE AND HIS LEGISLATURE RESIGN
@Vishal_Hussain@rdassaly Being Jewish alone is not an excuse. How does he know Brad Bradford is just being performative? Doug Ford certainly doesn’t give a rat’s ass. He showed up on October 7th because that is his base. He had security details. Olivia Chow did not.
He is so out of touch. Blaming our current Mayor instead of Doug Ford for Toronto‘s problems. Doug Ford has underfunded Toronto and downloaded a lot of services onto Toronto. I thought Geddy Lee would be smart enough to see that. Despite that, she has done a lot for our city. One thing, she cares.
Not wise. Should have kept his mouth shut.
I double checked and it turns out to be true. Did he know Brad Bradford was against children’s breakfast programs?
So both Brad Bradford and Geddy Lee have one thing in common. They are both really out of touch with what Toronto has been facing and continues to face. They are living in their own bubbles.
Man, this hurts. 💔
I will stop listening to them and I will replace my last two songs. I am guessing “Tears Are Not Enough” and “Cinderella Man” were both performative.
They are also making a stop in Texas, an extremely right wing state, so right wing that my nephew, even though he works there, he won’t live there. 💔
One day I hope we hold this corrupt government to account, Doug Ford needs to go to jail as do his cronies. Bankrupting us to fill their pockets & live the highlife, they have the nerve to turn around and tell us we will have to tighten our belts. Our belts ARE already tight!!
"Persons with disabilities know the challenges and frustrations with obtaining disability supports they need. In fact, many thousands get no support at all. You know this, but the Canadian public more broadly does not, and therefore we need your story."

@bsmntdwllr73 Thanks! I have listened to some of their other material. Each song I played, I knew, including from the 70s. I was into this band in the 80s, but there was a lot of competition for my attention. I was playing catchup with many artists.
#Top40SinglesOfThe80s
Missed Single In The Countdown
#Saga#DontBeLateChapterTwo (single)
Released in 1980
#SilentKnight (album)
The song was chapter two of sixteen chapters NOT on the album itself but scattered across albums from 1978 to 2003, part of a sci-fi puzzle.
This song would have been #6 but I missed it.
This song was the first song I heard on the radio. Saga got their start in 1977. Formed in Oakville and retired in 2017 (40th anniversary farewell tour).
Peak chart position in 🇨🇦#42 for the album “Silent Knight.” No singles on the album charted but the two singles “Don’t Be Late” and “Careful Where You Step” was their breakout album to help establish their fan base, especially in 🇩🇪.
It was a catchy tune, and ear worm for me for whenever I was running late. 😁

@KootenayGreg No, many of us have given up in terms of "expecting" anything from Doug Fraud in Ontario, while trying to still exercise our rights. It's very disturbing how low they can sink.
I've blocked over a million people in the last couple of days.
Twitter has introduced me to levels of stupidity I didn't know existed.
The terrifying part is these people leave the house without adult supervision. Sheesh 🙄.
@20th_Centurygal Saga "Don't Be Late (Chapter Two)" contains low level whispered words in the background, sci-fi dialogue that tells the story of Albert Einstein and an alien encounter. 👽
