Taking India–Lesotho Sporting Ties to New Heights! 🇮🇳🤝🇱🇸

Had a productive bilateral meeting with Lesotho's Sports Minister, Hon. Mputi Mputi.

We discussed strengthening our sports partnership by sharing India's expertise in sports science, coach training, physical education, and world-class sports infrastructure to support Lesotho's athletes. We also explored leveraging Lesotho's high-altitude terrain to provide specialized training opportunities for Indian athletes.

बंधुआ मजदूरी जैसी अमानवीय प्रथा के उन्मूलन की दिशा में भारत ने एक ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाया। 25 अक्टूबर 1975 को पूरे देश में बंधुआ मजदूरी प्रणाली को समाप्त किया गया, जिसे आगे चलकर Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976 के माध्यम से कानूनी स्वरूप प्रदान किया गया।

श्रम संहिताओं के तहत जोखिम भरे कार्यों में लगे श्रमिकों की सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता दी गई है। इसके लिए कार्यस्थलों पर ऑन-साइट सुरक्षा निगरानी सुनिश्चित करने हेतु Safety Committee का गठन अनिवार्य किया गया है।
