@educurious2015 @GraceEHealy I totally agree with this approach of mixing abilities, so many benefits for all children. I do think short Interventions should also be available which can reach ability groups but I know this mixed approach works really well for my little boy #inclusionmatters #downssyndrome

@SLTchat Visit a special school in your area, with a clear mind, no pre-judgements and see how the TAs deal with challenging behaviours consistently, calmly and often in a bespoke way. Observe the teachers who deal with behaviours in lessons but also PLAN to avoid those behaviours 🙂

Making my little boy a sensory box/story box to use alongside the story 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (he is 7 with Downs Syndrome) what are some 'must have' items?! To cover all senses and key themes/characters 🤷🏼‍♀️
