Mr. Mukisa Emmanuel, Co-Founder of Green Totos Forum, flagged by Tania Nantongo (Mentee-GTF Young Climate Leaders Mentorship Program 2025), represented GTF at the Environment Parliament 2025, held on September 5th at the Parliament Building in Uganda.
I represented @GreenTotos in the NationalEnvironmental Parliament 2025.This event saw the launch of an Environment Manifesto.
I had the privilege of sharing my expertise in environment and climate change education discussing how best to integrate it in combating climate change.
From August 4–8, about 60 educators from Uganda and Kenya met in Naivasha for a workshop on Nature Education and Sustainability. Led by UWA Education officer, Emmanuel Mukisa, the event shared strategies on wetland conservation, climate change mitigation, and community engagement, strengthening regional collaboration for biodiversity protection.
