@MurphyPaule I read an article you wrote regarding Schengen visa appointment issues in Mar2024. I’m facing this issue applying for a Schengen for my husband. I’ve tried 7 embassies with no luck. Do you know if the embassies or government have made any progress on the matter?

@GERMANYinIRL what advice can you give. VisaMetric is not allowing appointments to be booked to submit visa. “There is no available date.” Is the message given. Due to travel in the next few weeks so need to sort a visa.

@AerLingus I’m booking flights for my husband and I to spend the weekend in London. I’m Irish, he’s Lebanese but he has Irish residency and holds a Irish Residency Permit. Does he require a UK visa? The British Embassy advised me to check with the airline. Thank you.
