This is Chad Eberle, a reserve police officer in Texas. Chad has a child with a Mexican woman, and they were in a custody dispute. Chad drove into Mexico and killed three people in relation to this dispute, as well as shooting the mother in the head. He was arrested trying to cross back into Texas with his son. A female homeowner found an intruder in her shed. She subdued him with a baseball bat and chained him up, then forced him to reveal the location of her items and the accomplices.

She was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, kidnapping with intent to cause actual bodily harm and being armed with intent to commit an offence. She has been refused bail.

No charges filed against the intruders yet.
