@1goodtern Friend of mine in her 60s told by doc she no longer needed to mask bc her immunotherapy for cancer was boosting her immune system. I tried to convince her he was wrong. She stopped masking, caught Covid, then had a heart attack a couple weeks later. Thankfully, she survived

@kelcsimpkins Next week he’s going in for an echocardiogram. I also want him to get a stress echocardiogram after that (I think doc will agree). Hope things are okay for your friend. Are they having exercise intolerance? That was one of the first LC symptoms partner noticed

@kelcsimpkins My partner (late 30s) started having chest tightness and some other heart strangeness post-Covid. Regular EKG normal. Stress EKG (where you run on treadmill during) suggested early stage of ischemia and BP shit up to 200. He was in good shape prior to Covid 1/

@1goodtern My partner had a cardiology appt yesterday due to post-Covid heart stuff. Everyone was either unmasked or wearing surgicals, despite the clinic website stating that masks were still required. BUT staff was thorough about wiping down equipment btwn stress tests. Make it make sense
