@DrealsammyT Same government came out to say all Ghanaians will have to link their Ghana card to their sims. A deadline was given for that to be done.
Imagine a government crying to increase their revenue from e-levy still passing threats to block sims. Sims that are capable of paying e-levy.

Government: We will not cancel e-levy because we need more money.

Also Government: We will block all sim users who haven't linked their Ghana card to their sims.

Simple Maths: That doesn't add up. Make it make sense!

@DrealsammyT Earlier this year the government came out with a tax that affects mobile money transactions, e-levy. According to them, they were expecting some 600 million cedis but got only 10% of expected revenue. Of course, because that kind of tax is 'a burden'.
