Did you know that Noah Webster was also a Bible translator? Webster knew Hebrew and Greek, and decided to revise the King James Bible. He took difficult-to-understand words, and changed them into words more recognizable to Americans in the 1800s.
The Wyman Fragment from an early copy of Paul's Letter to the Romans has a hole where other manuscripts vary. This fragment favors the reading with omicron rather than omega. The first says, "We have peace with God"; while the second says, "Let us have peace with God."
Jesus did NOT say, “YOU will build my church” or “I will build YOUR church.” Jesus said, “I will build MY church,” emphasis on I and MY. It’s His church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
