@PURUMCORisFaith@robbystarbuck Please show me the evidence that the doctors make money from the organ procurement. I have not seen this in the US. Also, please give me a site that relates to a court proceeding or something that is expert reviewed and not just a conspiracy link.
“I work the front desk at a small doctor’s office, and I wish people could see what happens on the other side of the phone.
Every day, older patients call us confused.
They are told to use the patient portal, upload documents, check lab results online, fill out forms before the visit, and confirm everything through a link.
Some of them do not know what a portal is.
Some do not have a smartphone.
Some have one, but they are afraid to click the wrong thing.
Last week, a man in his late 80s called about his test results.
He said, “Ma’am, I don’t mean to bother you, but the computer says I have a message and I don’t know how to open it.”
He sounded ashamed.
That broke my heart.
He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.
But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.
Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.
Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.

Reuters: US JUDGE ORDERS TRUMP ADMINISTRATION TO REINSTALL SIGNS, EXHIBITS IT REMOVED FROM NATIONAL PARKS DISCUSSING TOPICS LIKE SLAVERY, CLIMATE CHANGE
After eight days of powerful programming, our museum dedicated to the human toll of climate change has been forced to close early, shut out by preparations for Trump’s birthday celebration on the National Mall, just as a new heatwave bears down on DC. https://t.co/vFSIUtAIyK
Why are some Democrats suddenly going quiet on climate? 🤔
Turns out, the idea that #climatechange is a “losing issue” may be wrong. Research suggests talking about climate could actually HELP Democrats, while silence risks losing ground on an issue shaping our health, bills, and future. 🌎

🇺🇸🧐“AND YOU STILL DARE TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH…”
Sasha Legerman: This is too accurate not to share.
This Australian’s response to Trump’s rant that “NATO does nothing for America” is absolutely devastating:
“Mate. You run a country where 600,000 homeless people will sleep on the streets tonight.
A country where 40% of adults can’t cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money.
A country where insulin costs more than a car payment, and people ration it just to stay alive.
A country where medical debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy.
A country where women die in hospital parking lots because doctors are too afraid of abortion laws to treat miscarriages.
You imprison more of your own citizens than any country on Earth.
More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea.
In the land of the free, 2 million people sit in cages, and a quarter of them haven’t even been convicted of anything.
They’re simply too poor to afford bail.
Your life expectancy is declining. You’re the only developed nation where that’s happening.
Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba’s.
Your children practice active shooter drills between math and English classes while you sell defense stocks to your friends.
Your minimum wage hasn’t changed in 15 years.
Your teachers work two jobs, your veterans sleep under bridges, and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that never attacked you.
And now a convicted criminal — found liable for sexual abuse, defending a pedophile, sleeping with a porn star, and running the biggest dumpster-fire campaign since the Taliban — is thanking you for yet another disaster.
And you call Greenland badly governed?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world.
Nobody there goes bankrupt because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because insurance refused treatment.
‘NATO wasn’t there when we needed them.’
When exactly was that, champ?
September 11?
Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU.
Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU.
Australia wasn’t even in NATO, and we still showed up. For twenty years.
And then you left at 2 a.m. without telling anyone and left everybody else to clean up the mess.
You don’t care that a great nation is being terrorized by your friend, and you haven’t shown it a single ounce of sympathy.
So maybe before calling other countries badly governed, take a look at your own backyard, you aluminum siding salesman with a spray tan.
The only thing badly managed in this picture is your damn mouth.
And you still dare to lecture the rest of the world?”
The wildfires that tore through California last January stole not just Altadena residents' sense of safety in their homes, but the homes themselves.
Some mementos were salvageable, and will be showcased at our Museum of Unnatural Disasters in downtown DC starting next week. ⬇️
#BREAKING: Psaki: “…I have to start tonight with a story that in any other administration, would be grounds for opening an impeachment inquiry, because today ProPublica reported that the White House intervened to get a $620 million deal for a company tied to President Trump’s adult son @DonaldJTrumpJr…the deal in question involved a startup focused on rare earth magnet production called Vulcan Elements and last Summer, Don Jr’s venture capital firm took an undisclosed stake in that company, and wouldn’t you know…three months later, the Pentagon announced that it was giving Vulcan Elements a $620 million loan.”🙄🤦♀️
This claim is an oversimplification and doesn’t reflect the full reality of the asylum system. While there may be cases of misuse, many asylum seekers are genuinely fleeing violence, persecution, or extreme hardship in their home countries. The process involves legal scrutiny, background checks, and court hearings, and not all claims are approved.
It’s also inaccurate to assume that everyone involved in the system believes claims are “fake.” Judges, officers, and legal professionals operate within established laws and procedures, and decisions are made based on evidence and individual circumstances.
Migration is a complex issue driven by multiple factors, including safety, economic conditions, and family reunification—not just welfare benefits. Broad generalizations like this overlook the human and legal realities involved.
Today, I voted for the seventh time to reopen TSA and pay our agents and workers.
Again, Republicans blocked it. They continue to hold TSA workers and American travelers hostage to protect ICE.
We need to set ICE aside while we negotiate for needed reforms, and fund all other elements of DHS: TSA, Coast Guard, CBP, and FEMA.
This is fucking outrageous, and it's the kind of story that should cause Senators to hold up Mullin's confirmation to DHS.
Looking at you, @SenFettermanPA
@JonathanTurley Thanks for making clear that you do not believe in people being paid a livable wage and you’d rather have the free speech limitations being passed by Florida. I do not want the future you are pushing @JonathanTurley
@robbystarbuck Assuming that only the Democrats have excessive spending is inaccurate. Look at the deficits that Trump has run up compared to other presidents - his are much higher. Robby you are clearly politically biased with your info
@robbystarbuck Simplistic immature analysis here. So if you get rid of taxes, who pays for your police force, for your fire fighters, for your roads, for the infrastructure you need for a decent quality of life? You gotta get more sophisticated than this Starbuck for valid arguments.
Today a federal court made clear Pete Hegseth violated the Constitution when he tried to punish me for something I said.
This is a critical moment to show this administration they can't keep undermining Americans' rights.
I also know this might not be over yet, because Trump and Hegseth can't admit when they are wrong.
