@peterboghossian This is an interesting thought experiment when you apply it to one person (like this scenario) and then contrast it by applying it to a large grouping of people (like immigration in the EU). I would personally risk the 25% chance in your scenario but wouldn't with a larger group.
I am a woman from Iran. Let me tell you honestly how women like me see politicians like you in America, women who speak about freedom from the safety of Congress while sympathizing with our killers under Islamic regimes.
You stand next to the American flag, speaking about freedom. Now you launch campaigns saying, “No War With Iran.”
Now I want to introduce you to a brave Iranian woman who understood America better than you ever will.
Her name is Sara Saeidi.
Born and raised in Iran.
39 years old.
A mother of two daughters, 19 and 6.
She was shot in the head for the “crime” of peacefully protesting while wearing a sweatshirt that said MANHATTAN, with the American flag beneath it.
While you stood in Congress under that flag, she carried its name on her chest, not as symbolism for a photo opportunity but as a dream.
Three days after she was killed, her body was returned to her family only after threats and money were taken from them. They were banned from holding a proper funeral. Authorities falsified the circumstances of her death.
That is the regime you refuse to confront clearly.
She wanted the freedom Manhattan represents, the freedom to live without fear, without morality police, without a bullet in her head. The same freedom protected by the Constitution you swore to uphold.
You speak of “No War With Iran,” but you refuse to condemn the war being waged against us, the Iranian people, by the Islamic Republic.
More than 30,000 unarmed civilians have been killed.
Women blinded.
Teenagers hanged.
Mothers executed.
When American lawmakers like you reduce this reality to a partisan talking point, you do the regime’s work for it. Dictatorships thrive when moral clarity disappears and when lawmakers choose ambiguity instead of standing firmly with victims.
You call yourself anti war. But where is your condemnation of the regime’s massacre? Where is your outrage at its war against its own people? You are anti-Iranian women.💔
Peace without justice is surrender.
Your hatred of President Trump appears stronger than your love for America, stronger than your love for Manhattan, for freedom, for women’s rights. That is why you sound sympathetic to the Islamic Republic while remaining silent about women like Sara, like me, and like millions of Iranians who are victims of this barbaric regime.
You celebrating hijab day in Manhattan in beautiful New York and watching women get killed in Iran for not wearing hijab.
I dare you to share the picture of Sara, and say no to the war being wage by Islamist terrorist on us, Iranians.
I have said many times, that I am always going to be critical of everything. Left or right. I will also give praise when praise is due...
This DOGE website with, full transparency, is amazing. We used to have to read through bills or government docs to try to figure out what is happening. Otherwise, have to trust media at face value.
Regardless if I agree with what is being cut or added, listing every single thing, one by one, is how it should be done. More of this please @DOGE
SHUT THEM DOWN! Remember when a FEMA official justified skipping Trump homes because they felt uncomfortable and then compared Trump supporters to dogs?!
FEMA just violated Trmp's EO and spent $59 MILLION to house illegals in New York.
6️⃣-🔟: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia🇸🇦, where I'm from, the UAE🇦🇪, Egypt🇪🇬, and many Arab and Muslim countries have designated the Muslim Brotherhood and other radical ideologies as terror groups.
While the UK🇬🇧 is helping them and receiving them, facilitating their rise as "Muslim community leaders" where they teach hatred towards the UK, and encouraging them to make riots and crimes directly and indirectly. These are merely facts that no one can ever deny.

Britain.
1. 250.000 young girls were systematically r*ped by grooming gangs.
2. Authorities covered it up and sent people to diversity training courses for talking about it.
3. Police arrested fathers who tried to save their daughters.
4. Media destroyed the lives of people who dared to expose this.
5. Tommy Robinson is currently in solitary confinement.
This is the biggest scandal in Britain perhaps ever.
Protect the children now.
Do I have this straight?
For more than two decades, hundreds of thousands of young British girls have been gang raped by members of principally one ethnic group.
Efforts to stop these egregious acts have been curtailed by British government leaders and politicians, the media, and others because of concerns about prosecutorial efforts and media exposure of these crimes appearing racist, and/or due to the risk of loss of political support from members of this ethnic group.
Cases have been dismissed and/or not pursued, among other reasons, because the underage girls were deemed to have made ‘lifestyle decisions’ that have led to the horrors they have experienced.
The relatively few prosecutions that have led to convictions have resulted in abbreviated sentences and early releases of the perpetrators back into the communities in which they committed these horrendous crimes to again walk the streets with their victims. Many perpetrators who were sentenced to be deported have remained in the country.
Those who have raised alarms about all of the above and posted about it on social media have been arrested and prosecuted for ‘stirring up racial unrest.’
All of the above is still going on and PM @Keir_Starmer and King Charles are doing nothing to stop this madness.
What if anything have I gotten wrong?
Where is the international uproar?
What are the UK and international rape victim groups doing to stop these horrendous acts?
Why wouldn’t @realDonaldTrump consider appropriate sanctions against the UK until these concerns are addressed?
This is what an actual awakening looks like. Not Mark Zuckerberg cozying up to the right as Trump reclaims power. Not minor lip service, but rather...
"I was an idiot."
Kudos, Ana Kasparian
I've had enough
I'm voting for Kamala Harris now
Crime is a real issue in this country and we need someone with a proven track record in dealing with criminals
She is the only candidate who has proven her commitment by keeping people in prison despite evidence proving innocence and kept others in prison to use as slave labor to fight wildfires
Her strength in not publishing any campaign positions shows her brilliance in campaigning by making it impossible for Trump to target
Her genius is exactly what this country needs and anyone who believes this endorsement is real and that I'd support such a fucking evil witch is retarded.
