Fuzzy Matching: The art of forcing correlation on data. Often in the service of matching users across sessions/accounts.

Methods:
1) RLIKE - regex matching
2) LEVENSHTEIN (Hive) - the distance between two strings using min # ops
3) SOUNDEX - does it sound similar, use with #2

Using Algolia to provide cross-site search functionality. Just web scraping and surfacing everything through instant search .js . It's overkill, but it works. All I want is for the different docs sites, blogs, multimedia channels, and social media to be easy for customers to find
