Three Australian politicians are currently complaining about misogyny & sexism. But -
@JacintaAllanMP, the Victorian Labor premier, has men in women’s prisons, school girls not drinking water and women punished for not accepting men as women.
@AlboMP, the Australian prime minister, has called the destruction of women’s rights a “culture war”, ignoring pleas to ensure women have rights & protections in federal legislation.
@JuliaGillard, during her time as the first women prime minister, removed the definition of women from war, igniting the “culture war”.
Calling out misogyny & sexism when it impacts you while ignoring Australian women & girls who are experiencing ideological & institutional misogyny & sexism on a daily basis is not a good look and it simply highlights the hypocrisy. It confirms our suspicion that you only care about yourselves.
If you’re going to cry misogyny & sexism, first make sure that you’re not a perpetrator of it.

Took this at what used to be Calvary Hospital in Canberra yesterday. After taking the cross down, the flag of a political movement which chemically castrates children and mutilates their bodies is now on display. The Australian 🇦🇺 flag of course doesn’t get a look in.
Omg... Fox News reports the massive Indian fake degree fraud ring has officially triggered a political firestorm in United States. But don't think it hasn't been noticed in Australia either 🤯🇦🇺
Police in India busted a syndicate seizing 100,000 counterfeit certificates across 22 universities, with over 1 MILLION total floating around globally.
The cost? As little as $1,250 AUD for an absolute fake.
The scary part? Reports indicate up to 23,000 "students" and visa holders currently inside Australia may have used these exact fraudulent credentials to game our system and secure entry.
Worse yet, Senator Malcolm Roberts just called out the Albanese government because these unverified visa holders are working in highly sensitive sectors like aged care and childcare! 🧵👇
Our system is completely broken. Genuine applicants who play by the rules wait in line for years, while criminal syndicates sell backdoor entry to Australia for pocket change. The Department of Home Affairs has the power under the Migration Act to deport and strip permanent residency/citizenship from anyone who lied on their application.
No excuses. It’s time for Canberra to stop dragging its feet, launch a full audit, cancel the fraudulent visas, and protect Australian jobs and safety! 🛑✈️
Dan Andrews | Zheng Mei —Marty Mei and now Nancy Yang 🇨🇳
>> Remember Marty Mei is Dan’s business partner at the very opaque company — Wedgetail.
>> Marty Mei — Zheng Mei, the same person, was Andrews’s senior China adviser 🇨🇳
>> Enter Nancy Yang — works alongside Marty Mei at the Chinese Community Council of Australia - CCCP 🇨🇳
>> Nancy Yang was NEVER VETTED TO WORK IN GOVERNMENT — Dan okayed it.
Here’s a thorough picture of Nancy Yang and the broader network she sits within:
Who is Nancy Yang?
Nancy Yang has worked as a Victorian electorate officer for Labor MPs since 2013. Prior to that role, she worked as a visa officer for the Chinese consulate in Melbourne. She is also on the committee of the Chinese Community Council of Australia (CCCA Victoria), alongside Daniel Andrews’s senior China adviser, Marty Mei.
Author and China expert Clive Hamilton has described the CCCA Victoria as “the foremost United Front organisation in Victoria” — a reference to the CCP’s United Front Work Department, which coordinates Beijing’s overseas influence and interference operations.
What drew public attention to her
In March 2020, Yang posted an article on her Facebook page under the heading “Chinese official suggests US Army to blame for outbreak,” commenting “U.S. owe an explanation.” She subsequently posted YouTube clips entertaining conspiracy theories about US responsibility for COVID-19, including one titled “The coronavirus CONSPIRACY – Did COVID-19 come from America?”
These posts surfaced publicly while Victoria was defending its Belt and Road deal with Beijing, intensifying scrutiny.
Andrews’s response to parliamentary questioning
During heated Question Time on June 3, 2020, Opposition Leader Michael O’Brien asked whether Nancy Yang had been vetted by security agencies before being hired, saying it was “standard practice.” Andrews replied: “I reject the assertion from the Leader of the Opposition that Australian citizens ought to be vetted by security agencies.” He dismissed the concerns as “conspiracy theories” and called Yang “an outstanding Victorian.”
Her role in Labor’s Chinese community outreach
In a December 2013 speech to parliament, then-federal Labor MP Anna Burke thanked both Nancy Yang and Marty Mei, along with their team of Chinese volunteers, for helping her in the previous election. Burke held the marginal Melbourne seat of Chisholm — a key Chinese-Australian community electorate. This establishes Yang as an active participant in Labor’s ethnic community electoral operations from at least 2013.
The broader network around Andrews and China
Yang is best understood as one piece of a wider pattern within the Andrews orbit. As opposition leader, Andrews’s senior China adviser was Mike Yang (no relation to Nancy), who was a vice president of the Australian Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China — described as the foremost CCP influence agency in Australia at the time, notorious through its president Huang Xiangmo. When Andrews became Premier, Marty Mei replaced Mike Yang in that senior adviser role. Mei had been named a “special consultant” to the Shenzhen Association of Australia, itself identified as a United Front front group. In 2015, Mei told a Chinese state media outlet that his role was to “prevent the state government from doing things that might damage the interests of the Chinese community and negotiate more benefits for the Chinese community.”
Andrews is believed to have first been connected to Jean Dong — whose company received $36,850 in taxpayer funds to advise on the 2019 Belt and Road Framework Agreement — through his former adviser Mike Yang. Yang and Dong both attended a 30-person youth delegation to China in 2014 and Yang had accompanied Andrews on a China trip in 2011 - 2013.
