So the ECI has now responded to the @IndianExpress investrigation by saying that internal observations are a normal part of deliberation, that its decisions follow the law, that its digital systems have security controls, and that the Commission's decisions over the past year were unanimous.
However, the press note (attached) does not appear to answer several of the specific questions raised in the investigation.
In particular:
Were the reported 14 objections actually recorded, and what was the disposition of each?
What was the specific legal basis for the changes to Form-6, particularly after objections were recorded by Commissioners?
What happened to the concerns regarding centralisation of electoral-roll database access and IT control?
What is the ECI's explanation for the reported Goa case involving 97 voters?
Who authorised the appeals concerning voters whose inclusion had been restored, and under what procedure?
What were the circumstances behind the reported communications to the Cabinet Secretary?
Were any communications issued in the name of the Commission without the requisite approval, as reported?
The distinction seems important: saying that final decisions were unanimous does not, by itself, explain what happened to objections raised during the decision-making process.
It may therefore be useful for @ECISVEEP to provide a point-by-point, documentary clarification on these matters rather than treating the general press note as a complete response to the investigation.
Given the importance of electoral institutions, these questions are worth being placed on the public record and answered transparently.
@HyundaiIndia On top of this, the required part isn’t even available at your workshop. I’ve been told to wait 45–50+ days. How can you expect a customer’s car to remain parked and unusable for nearly 2 months?

@HyundaiIndia My Creta is facing a serious DPF issue. Part itself costs around ₹90k, is extremely sensitive, and despite already spending considerably on repairs, there is still no proper solution. Is such an expensive critical component expected to fail this way? #HyundaiCreta

@CMODelhi@dtptraffic
Modi Govt has an absolute majority, they have 353 MPs. In Manipur, there is a BJP CM.
But when a question on Manipur was asked, the Women and Child Development minister @smritiirani said that @RahulGandhi’s actions put Manipur on fire.
How shameless & obsessed one can be, they have suspended him from parliament but still using his name for their incompetence.
AAP Rajya Sabha MP @SanjayAzadSln has been suspended for the rest of the session. He was raising Manipur issue and demanding Prime Minister's statement in parliament. Piyush Goel moved a motion for suspension and VP Dhankar readily put it to vote, before adjourning the house till 2 PM.
And just like that, so casually, a member of parliament is censored, thrown out for demanding the presence of the leader of the house in the house!
9 Pm: @IndiaToday After 2 months in hospital, 3 time BJP sitting MLA, Vungzagin Valte is now discharged.. he was assaulted, beaten up, family claims he was given electric shocks on May 4 in Imphal while driving away from the CM house , his body paralysed, his driver died in hospital from horrific injuries . Today, he was finally able to speak a little and even give a bit of a smile. No one has been arrested yet. Imagine if this happened to an MLA who was adviser to CM on tribal affairs, what would happen to ordinary Manipuris Don’t miss his story and that of his family. It’s a story that will tell you the trauma of Manipur. #Manipur
Manipur CM should resign if he has any shame. Doesn’t matter what community or tribe these two women belonged to who were subjected to such heinous crime.
This incident took place on May 4 & the govt completely buried it. No word & no action. Only tamasha around tearing his resignation letter.
