@hewantswealth Well most landlords have insurance which includes rent protection. Which would pay your tenants rent if they don’t pay for up to a year (some longer) so that invalidates that point.

@hewantswealth You can now that any profit from that rental income and use that to you YOUR RENT. using that money for a personal house deposit is just a massive cash injection with no immediate return on investment when that money could have been making you SOME income no matter how small

@hewantswealth If you have 65k for example and buy a personal home that money is GONE. It DOESNT make you monthly cashflow. All you have is monthly PAYMENTS. If you take that SAME 65k buy a rental place you still own a house but now you have a house AND CASHFLOW.

Everyone I know who has ever gone down that route has struggled to get rid of I just though get a cheaper place or a lower LTV mortgage and know you own the whole

@hewantswealth What they are saying actually makes sense but you are choosing to ignore the part where they are saying buy a place to RENT OUT and you rent the place you live in. Putting a deposit down on a house and slowly paying it down is not an efficient use of that money

@ImaniDH_ Savings. I would recommend buy your property and do any works first then do the wedding after with what you have left. Alot of people do it the other way round and find they have spent the money they would have used on wedding.
