Hi there, I'm Champ! I’m a one-year-old Collie who’s had a bit of a bumpy start in life. I came from a puppy farm and then spent some time with another rescue before I made it here. Things have been a little overwhelming for me, so I’m still learning how to trust and feel safe.
I get nervous when people try to handle me too closely, so I need a calm and patient human who will give me the time and space I need to feel comfortable. Walks are a bit scary for me right now—I’m not used to them—but with slow and steady progress, I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it. I’m pretty good around other dogs and might even do well living with a calm, confident canine buddy who can show me the ropes. If you’ve got a big heart, lots of patience, and a quiet, loving home, I’d love to meet you. Let’s take things slow and see if we’re a pawfect match!

Details or apply for Laika below 👇https://t.co/4v26CThkFS…… She was taken into the kennels as an abandoned dog, very underweight and suffering from a skin infection due to a bad flea allergy.  She hasn't been claimed by her previous owner and was out of time at the kennels so we were asked to help her at the 11th hour.  Luckily we had a Husky experienced foster carer step up and so she will be staying in our care until all her vet work, health checks etc are carried out and she will be fully assessed. She will need spaying, vaccinating, blood works, skin treatments, a dental and whatever else crops up on the vet check.  Laika is a lovely girl who just wants to be loved and have a good life.   We will ensure she is well cared for in her loving home environment whilst she awaits her permanent home.  If you could offer Laika a loving home, have a secure garden with 6ft fencing, no cats or kids under 12yrs and have the time and love to offer her then please get in touch asap. This lovely boy was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. He is microchipped so we know his name is Jeffrey and he is 10 years old. Sadly, Jeffrey’s owners failed to reclaim him. Jeff is a Rottweiler cross, he’s smaller than an average Rottie & more medium sized. Straight from arrival, Jeff has been very friendly and loving to all staff. We have seen no negative reactions from Jeff towards the other dogs he is kennelled next to. Jeff is always clean in his kennel which is a good indicator that he is housetrained. Jeffrey would be best suited to a home without very young children. He walks fairly nicely on the lead but does pull when excited. Potential adopters should bear in mind the potential cost of vet bills when adopting a senior dog. Jeff really deserves to find his 5 star forever home🏡🐶❤️

Daisy is a 7 year old Staffie Cross, she has come into us because her owner is moving and cannot take her to the new home (landlord) 🐶🏡
Daisy's owner has told us that she is house trained, good with older children, she has been around a cat but no for other dogs in the house. In the kennels Daisy is a good girl, she is clean in the kennel and no trouble at all for us at all. She also loves being out and her treats also! Daisy will very loyal to her new owner though she can be suspicious of new people at first. “Brenda is our longest stay Greyhound!
She’s been with us since July 2023!! Yep… 1.5yrs!!
She’s 4yrs old, and has a real sweet nature! She can be cheeky, and can get a bit ‘silly’ when excited! She has been known to mouth during playtime and she does steal things! She was also a little destructive in her previous home - we did find her a home before July, but unfortunately she was returned due her behaviour, and the other dog in the home found her a little too much!
She’s not cat friendly, and will chase other small furries! Whilst Brenda does get along with most other dogs when out on walks - particularly the other sight hounds, she can be a little over the top which some dogs find intimidating!
Due to her past behaviour in the home - the mouthing etc, we wouldn’t be able to rehome Brenda with young children.
She is a super friendly and affectionate girl! She loves people, and is a firm favourite amongst the volunteers! She always enjoys fuss, and is one of the dogs who benefits from day trips out by the volunteers… where she is reported to be impeccably behaved!
We really hope it’s Brenda’s time to find a new home soon!”
