I think the large issue is that the tutor is only effective once, if you havent already drawn Command Tower, otherwise it's an overcosted 1/1.

@g33kaholic @nestapendragon If Zirda is you're commander, no. None of them have a Boros Identity. If you're running some other color combination that includes RW and Zirda is a companion, yes. But at that point it's mostly neutural. You put in 2 mana, you get back 2 mana, and the egg replaces itself.

Crystal lacks the explosiveness that Vivi's growing mana ability gives him. So instead of a turbo storm, shes more midrange good stuff storm.

@Ory_Senpai @TheTrinketMage Is something that is felt. And if you *are* on Necro or Naus, the lower life total is actively impeding you're ability to go deeper with those cards.

TL;DR: if you cant or don't want to pick up the originals, just proxy. It actually does make a difference in cEDH.

Whether someone has a flier that keeps growing, presenting a real damage threat or some other way to get through and connect, or sometime else is getting to draw a ton of cards and there's a Bowmaster eating well, the lower life

They have multiple 20 card packs that get mashed together ala Jumpstart with one pair of decks that play out in a controlled manner to teach new players the basics. All cards are from the main set.
