As of 6 p.m. Tuesday, Ontario's regional public health units are reporting 16,598 confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19, with 1,049 deaths.

This is up 49 deaths and 430 new cases (or up a low 2.7%) in a bit over 24 hours.
