“Adults can still access social media through age checks like facial recognition, digital IDs, passports and credit cards.”
There you have it. It was never about protecting children.
Age verification was always a trojan horse to implement digital IDs, mass surveillance, and censorship of the internet.
If Western governments cared about protecting children it would arrest the child rapists in the Epstein files.
That’s how allies and friends deal with each other and respect each other.
Thank you #Iran.
“Iranian Foreign Ministry:
Yesterday's Israeli terrorism in the southern suburbs of Beirut has turned into an opportunity to maximize our interests and those of the resistance.
Respect for Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity is part of the interim agreement with the United States.
We will use all our capabilities for #Lebanon if necessary, and we have proven this before.”
#Gaza authorities report thousands of Israeli ceasefire violations, mounting casualties, and severe aid restrictions, as the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate sharply.

Statement issued by Hezbollah:
——
"Hezbollah extends its congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, and its people, on the monumental achievement of reaching the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States of America, which has led to a comprehensive ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon. This grand achievement is the fruit of the legendary resilience, exceptional steadfastness, and immense sacrifices borne by the dear Iranian people and their wise leadership, who remained steadfastly committed to the national choices that safeguard their dignity, sovereignty, and independence.
On this momentous occasion, Hezbollah extends its greetings and appreciation to His Eminence, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, who guided this phase with wisdom, courage, and foresight that has seldom been matched. We likewise extend our greetings to the President of the Republic and the Iranian Government, the valiant armed forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the army, and the brotherly Iranian people. We express our deepest gratitude for their unwavering stances alongside Lebanon, its people, and its resistance, and for their insistence that Lebanon be present in any understanding that leads to ending the war and preserves its rights, bearing for that sake the burdens of the siege and aggression. Thus, the Islamic Republic confirms once again that it is indeed the best support, and a powerful, loyal ally.
Hezbollah also extends its greetings to all the countries that participated, contributed, aided, and accompanied the efforts to remove obstacles in order to achieve this agreement. We emphasize that Lebanon must properly utilize this regional and international umbrella to realize Lebanon's sovereignty and liberate its land within the framework of internal unity.
We extend our grandest salute to the people of honor, pride, and defiance, to the loyal people of the resistance, and to our displaced families. A salute to their patience, endurance, and steadfastness, and a salute to their sacrifices and everything they have offered in confronting this barbaric aggression. They have truly proven to be a proud people and the "most honorable of people," precisely as described by the Martyr of the Nation, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
We salute the leadership and heroic, valiant fighters of the resistance, who serve as the impenetrable shield and fortress of our homeland. These fighters sacrificed their pure blood and souls for the pride of their nation and the dignity of their people, engaging in heroic battles where the Israeli enemy witnessed some of their might and was made to taste the bitterness of defeat.
We affirm that what has been achieved is a prelude to completing the path toward the full liberation of our land, the return of our prisoners to their homeland and families, the return of all our people, especially the residents of the frontline villages on the forward edge, to their towns and homes, and the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the aggression. We call upon our steadfast people to remain patient and to await the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities regarding a safe return to their villages and towns, ensuring their safety and avoiding any risks that may arise from potential Israeli violations.
The Israeli enemy must understand that there is no returning to the status quo prior to March 2nd. The resistance, which has always been and remains the vigilant eye protecting our homeland and its people, will never accept any aggression that violates the sovereignty of its nation or sheds the blood of its people. The resistance will continue to uphold Lebanon's legitimate and steadfast right to defend its land, its people, and its sovereignty until full withdrawal is achieved and the prisoners are returned.
Consequently, we emphasize that this current stage demands that the authority and all Lebanese political forces return to a unified national stance to achieve the goals that unite the Lebanese people, because within those goals lies Lebanon's true interest, safeguarding its sovereignty, strength, and resilience against the ambitions of the Israeli enemy. It is a matter of wisdom to review all the calculations and paths that the authority has previously pursued, to benefit from this experience and prior experiences through which our homeland Lebanon has passed, to distance ourselves from illusions and losing bets, and to acknowledge that a unified Lebanese position and reliance on true friends remain the optimal path to safeguarding national interests."
UPDATE | Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei:
• "The release of Iran’s frozen assets and compensation for war damages are two key economic priorities in this memorandum of understanding, and the United States is committed to implementing them."
• "Iran considers access to its assets a legal right and continues to firmly demand compensation for this unlawful war."
• "Under this memorandum, the United States is obliged to lift all primary and secondary sanctions, UN Security Council resolutions, and those of the International Atomic Energy Agency."
• "Details of these nuclear and economic issues will be finalized within 60 days after the signing of the final agreement."
• "Also, with the signing of this memorandum on Friday, all restrictions on the sale of Iranian oil, oil derivatives, and petrochemical products will be lifted immediately."
• "The security, dignity, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Lebanon are of fundamental importance to Iran, and the country has demonstrated its commitment to this in practice."
• "The repeated reference to Lebanon in the memorandum of understanding, along with the strong emphasis on preserving its sovereignty and territorial independence, clearly reflects Iran’s strategic approach and comprehensive support for this important regional country."
• "The security of the Strait of Hormuz is of great importance to Iran, and all measures taken in recent months have been fully in line with international law. Under the memorandum of understanding, Iran—as a coastal state—in cooperation with Oman and in consultation with relevant stakeholders, will ensure the security and safe passage of ships through this strategic waterway."
• "These supervisory and supportive measures are implemented in line with the commitments of the other party while fully preserving Iran’s sovereign position."
• "Iran is not merely seeking to collect fees, but will design and collect costs related to navigation services, environmental protection, and ship insurance provided jointly by Iran and Oman."
• "The memorandum does not include detailed nuclear provisions; instead, it stipulates that within 60 days of signing, bilateral talks will be held exclusively on nuclear issues and mutual sanctions relief."
• "Iran’s positions regarding enrichment and high-enriched uranium stockpiles are fully clear and based on its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). However, it remains to be seen how developments unfold during these 60 days of negotiations."

The UK Court of Appeal has ruled that the government’s decision to ban the activist group Palestine Action as a “terrorist organisation” is lawful.
The ruling overturned a previous High Court decision that had found the ban under the Terrorism Act 2000 to be unlawful and disproportionate.
The case follows legal challenges to the government’s proscription of the group, and the issue remains part of ongoing political and public debate in the UK.
The destruction of cemeteries intersects with deliberate Israeli efforts to erase evidence of Israeli army crimes in #Gaza. The systematic targeting of cemeteries is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
