AI has a way of hoovering attention. Why I still focus on bitcoin:

- Authoritarianism is on the rise. AI accelerates the trend. Bitcoin is money for dissent
- Digital-native payments for agents

This theory is almost 100% correct, but the real mechanism behind this scheme is Tether.

Tether is on track to become a top 10 TBill buyer, currently holding more short term debt than sovereign nation states like Germany.

It’s marketed aggressively towards the global south where retail Dollars are in exceptionally high demand, setting the stage to replace sovereign currencies in their entirety.

USD1 is a Trump-family grift that no one cares about - people like CZ quite literally had to be bullied into accepting it. It exists to make a quick buck for the fam.

Tether is the actual play, and it’s not a hypothetical - and its fairly easy to freeze; much easier than the actual Dollar, giving the US even more control over the global economy.

It is a privatized weapon of economic warfare that cannot be stopped by Congress or incoming presidencies.

It is the World Bank and IMF on steroids, designed to collapse entire nation states by placing the Dollar directly in the hands of the consumer - bypassing governments entirely.

With decades in experience collapsing currencies for investors like Soros, there arguably isn't a single better person to bring this play to life than Scott "Sterling" Bessent.

(Of course Tether is also banked by Cantor Fitzgerald, Commerce Secretary and Epstein Island friend Howard Lutnick’s firm, now run by his sons).

(Of course^2, Trump benefits directly from Tether through shared investments s.a. Rumble).

Stablecoins man. Not even once.
