this is what i mean when i say the mcl is impressively mediocre we’re not good anywhere. at best we’re decent in high spd, but so shit in low spd. norris’ talent with low spd disguises it in quali but. yeah.
Who was fastest in every corner in Spain?
Starting with Turns 1/2, where Lewis Hamilton was 3kph quicker than anyone else ON AVERAGE. That was a theme.
A look through every corner 👇
stella says car should b good w low spds i assume bc of its accel out of corners but im p sure the merc is better even then cos their car has disgusting traction (hence: monaco disaster)
ok last bcn ramble before austria #bel1eve
@sebcedess kimi had +1.6s by the time of his DNF, i can’t be 100% sure because idc enough to check but at minimum he had the requisite +1s/lap he needed.
&& i’m just addressing the posts i saw, where you implied kimi wasn’t faster using overall race pace, but that’s deceptive
russell had clean air for the entire race & if a car is within one second for several laps, it means the car behind is faster.
if kimi continued the race, he would’ve put a >5s gap on russell by the end. kimi had already put one second on russell in one lap, and clean air.
@landovsynk austria merchant norris better pull through 🙂↕️ i thought pole would only b possible if we were within 2.5~ tenths here but i will #hopium
@jxjamesss it’s hard to say, ofc lewis was in clean air but on pace alone with similar fuel loads & on the hards the ferrari looks a good few tenths quicker, we just benefitted from russell being disgustingly slow and the mercs racing e/o
like i said before i really think we should’ve been closer this weekend, ferrari and merc (minus driver diff) was in a different league. maybe a little bit of hope though 🤞
