@ProCyclingStats I always thought the various classification jerseys were farcically low prize money... โฌ25k to win the points jersey.... disgraceful really.
@BrendyBoyle They will jump on the bandwaggon if it starts to look good. I remember going to a bar for the women's Euro final last year and the place was empty.
@BrendyBoyle I remember the same once there, Villareal v Arsenal 2006 Champs league semi. " Que partido es?? Quien juega?". Anything outside of a 5km radius was foreign! ๐
@HullCityStats Midfield is terrible coming back. That's what's costing goals every week. No support for the defence who clear the ball to the opposition. Pure laziness in midfield has cost the playoff spot.
@BrendyBoyle@tsf_podcast So it hasn't changed in 23 years since the Celtic UEFA cup final then... Midnight and 27 degrees with no water, taxis, busses etc available...Knowing Sevilla, I'm not one bit surprised it has never changed!
@irishpeloton In the end they could have just Time trialled the event and the top 5 would probably have been the same. And maybe it would have been more exciting too.. it's a hard watch these days.
@MiguelDelaney Maybe, but the first half was excellent and bodes well (apart from the obvious). Maybe the Czechs weren't great but our attitude was excellent in the first half. 2nd half was the opposite! I reckon we would have challenged Denmark.
@MiguelDelaney@IComestible It's very hard to buy the exhausted line. They're professional players who haven't played for several days. They should be as fit as a fiddle. The Czechs were in same boat. Sitting back and hoping as we did in 2nd half is a terrible strategy.Especially when you are a better team.
@100Climbs@tntsports Don't subscribe to it. They're ruining cycling. There must be 80% less eyes on it now. It's not worth paying so much for a crap production.
@Terraces12thman Of course but I'm not even sure it's the quality of defenders and more the willingness to shift ass to close attackers down. Nobody on the Ipswich guy the other day, he could have had his lunch waiting to pick the top corner. Ball watching. Same all season.
@eoinyk I imagine they did it because people park there or wait to collect people. It's a stupid solution but it is a scourge in many places where you have to pay. Just a guess, I've never been there. They could just create a dropoff area...
@kpottermn@Thomaskyle22 A lot of what airlines do is nonsensical. Aer Lingus cut routes to Santiago Spain every autumn even though the occupancy must be 90%. 2nd busiest international route from SCQ is DUB. I wonder if they only fly when they get a handout.
