@ylecun Ok, "can not be informative" is a bad choice of words. If it had positive second derivative, it would show that the higher "guns per capita" the higher "death per gun" gets. Now that would be an argument for banning guns.

@ylecun It would make sense to consider causality if it were “gun ownership per capita” vs “violent death per capita”. Or just “death per capita”. But this graph by design can not be informative.
