@charise_lee 3/ You’re absolutely correct on the point that AI isn’t replacing workers. In fact, the internal approved tools are abysmal. Lots of people sidestep them for other options because the internal tools are so bad nobody wants to use them.

@charise_lee Couple of things here (I was not impacted by the layoffs but I’m no longer with AWS).

1/ Amazon search is a massive business. It’s margins aren’t “thin”.
2/ The capital backlog is an interesting discussion but it’s more of a supply chain issue upstream of AWS

@ananayarora If they were really doing this, why would they bother advertising it? Why would you even register a DNS entry for a botnet proxy to harvest data when there are plenty of other ways to run a command and control system that wont advertise what you’re doing?
