Is preaching the most important function of pastor? IMO, preaching is not what makes a pastor. It’s the shepherding, caring, loving, attending to the sheep…being in the trenches…that makes a pastor. Jesus describes Himself as the Great Shepherd, not the great orator.
@JulieLovesFluff Oh brother. 🙄
I regularly put baby down to nap and go outside to work in the flowerbeds. No one else in the house at all.
How else are you supposed to get work done?
@Girlaboutsmthng Babe is about to turn 6 months. Kind of dreading it. Food gets so much more complicated. For me, nursing requires so much less thinking. Always on tap, m right temp, done anywhere, etc. Do I sometimes wish she’d take a bottle? Sure. But if I had my druthers, this is far preferred
@emilykmay@lymanstoneky Perhaps for the same reason divorce rates rose due to COVID work from home policies.
Too much of a good thing…is not a good thing.
Sadly not all couples get along as well as you do with your fiancé.
@mmiakapro I just had my 6 week appt and my CNMW asked me a similar question. I responded my husband will wear a condom. She said sounds good.
I wasn’t offended by a valid question and she chose to accept my valid answer.
Not sure why you think BC always has to be hormonal.
@MischlingMaker Yes!
Many say 40 is a time of testing, but I also think of it as a time of preparation and anticipation. I don’t have enough characters to fully explain, but you can think through Moses’ life, the Israelites wandering, Jesus in the desert, etc.
Very applicable to pregnancy!
The irony: I am cold-natured in general. In all my pregnancies, I’ve been pregnant and run “hot” during the warmest month. Then I have autumn babies and hormones crash sending me back to coldness during the coldest months. It’s a cold double whammy.
@HilzFuld Teaching school…take pic of worksheet, graphic organizer, etc. Use Apple TV to project to class. Demonstrate work for class. It’s a modern-day overhead projector. Can also airdrop page, easily project student work and collaborate together.
