I had to visit the NHS Walk-In Centre in Fratton yesterday and in doing so I passed down Rodney Road, Anson Road, Invincible Way and Illustrious Drive. #Class50
@JGourd7 No 5759 is from a mid 1956 batch. the Tynesides were numbered from 5781 - 5795. They did not carry unit numbers - only vehicle numbers which had an 'E' prefix before they were transferred to the Southern.

As part of ongoing improvement work, MLV 68001 and 5759 have had their Buckeye couplers overhauled and are now fitted with Lower Shelf Brackets.
This essential and vital upgrade of 68001 and 5759 completes this project for the operational fleet.

Brief update: Some of our @epbpg preservation team recently conducted a survey on recently acquired MLV 68004 - the missing rubbing plates are planned to be replaced and making this MLV gradually one whole again.

The exam jobs now completed on the motor bogie of S65373 on @epbpg (5759), so it should not be much longer until the motors will sing again!
