Since 2011, EPECOTGE has undertaken many challenging projects and accumulated skills, know-how and experiences in Integrated Watershed Management activities.
Today, the Senior Management of the Rwanda Water Resources Board (RWB) held discussions with the @WorldBankGroup team on the implementation of the Volcano Community Resilience Project (#VCRP), which is being implemented in collaboration with various partner institutions.
Under the project, #RWB is responsible for implementing the Flood Risk Management and Catchment Management Restoration and Land Restoration components.
EPECOTGE Ltd is engaging residents across Jenda, Jomba, Kintobo, Mukamira, Rugera, and Rurembo in developing 100 Village Land Use Action Plans, ensuring local knowledge shapes practical solutions for resilient landscapes and sustainable development.

To date, both data collection and village level validation have been successfully completed, providing a solid foundation for sustainable land management and strengthened community resilience in @NyabihuDistrict .
Under a contract with the @RwandaWater , EPECOTGE is implementing the development of Village Land Use Action Plans (VLUAPs) in @NyabihuDistrict .
The assignment covered 50 villages, with field activities conducted from 5 January to 10 February 2026.
