@durafourt @DGlaucomflecken My interesting recent discovery is that intracranial surgical manipulation of the nerve can also elicit the reflex. Slightly less standard to tell the neurosurgeon to stop moving the structure around than asking the ophthalmologist to be careful with the eyeball manipulations!

Some reasons:
