Women occupy 51% of Uganda’s population while also being part of the underserved and marginalized. The same is true to the rest of the African continent. Tomorrow we’re creating space to discuss what empowerment means but also young women’s lived realities.
We’re hosting @Lord_Mutuzo for an important conversation where she’ll share her perspective on what empowerment looks like for young African women as a human rights activist and media influencer in commemoration of the women’s month!

Your Mind Matters. Let’s Talk About It
Mental health is just as important as physical health. Yet for many people, it remains one of the most misunderstood and stigmatised topics. We believe that well-being starts from within, when people feel safe, heard, supported, and connected.
Here’s how we can all make a difference:
Check in on your friends. Not just when they smile, but when they go quiet.
Create safe spaces at home, school, work, and in our communities to talk about feelings.
Seek professional. Counselling is not weakness; it’s strength.
Support mental wellness in SRHR because emotional health influences every decision about our bodies and relationships.
We all have a role to play in breaking the silence around mental health. Through compassion, care, and community, we can create a Uganda where emotional well-being is valued just as much as physical health.
