AANI has signed an MoA with Technile Technical Ltd to implement the Renewed Hope Smallholder Farmers Programme (RH-SHP), targeting 10,000 smallholder farmers nationwide in Phase I.
At AANI, we believe that when farmers are properly financed, equipped with knowledge, connected to structured markets, and supported with enabling infrastructure, food security strengthens, rural incomes increase, and poverty declines sustainably at scale.
Nigeria’s diverse regions drive strong agricultural & export potential. North leads in grains & livestock; South in cocoa, palm, cassava & aquaculture.
South East Nigeria is a major food basket, producing rice, cassava, yam, palm oil, vegetables, poultry & fish. Ebonyi has about 94.5% of households in farming, with agriculture contributing up to 89% of state GDP, while Anambra scaled rice output
from 70k metric tons in 2014 to over 500k metric tons in 2021. The region shows strong export potential in rice, cassava derivatives, palm oil, spices & vegetables, including over $5M fresh vegetable exports to the UK.
