Most people around you want you to fail,

They expect that when you fail,

• You will join them in their miserable lives,

Or,

• They will inherit your position so that they can succeed like you.

But if you don't meet their expectations of failure, they become even angrier and more hateful towards you for no reason,

Your growth and progress annoy them when you refuse to be the failure they expect.

Your discipline and determination to succeed angers them.

They will even become vengeful when you refuse to listen to their mockery and insults.

Such people cannot go far in life,

They will remain insufferable,

They will remain stagnant because their minds are full of mould as a result of jealousy, and their hearts are coated with thick black soot due to unnecessary hate towards a person who is just minding his business and has not done anything wrong towards them.

The only mistake you made is that you chose to pursue your purpose with discipline, order and consistency.

That is what irks them.

Refuse to accept their mockery and insults.

Focus.

In the end, you will win.

These are not politicians.

They are not doctors or lawyers.

These are founders.

They founded, own, and invest heavily in technology innovation companies.

Now, if you want to be relevant in the next 10 years, invest your resources in these 5 companies.

This doesn't mean buying shares in them.

It means aligning your skills around these companies.

For example, if you are a carpenter, identify a product or service in these companies, then build an idea around it, and then develop a product or service based on those products or services.

Or, if you are an interior designer, find out how you can borrow an idea from these companies or how you can leverage your skill using the products and services built by these companies.

The era of saying,

"I am going to school because I want to be a lawyer," — is gone.

These traditional careers began losing their grandeur two decades ago.

I am not saying being a lawyer is bad.

What I am saying is that even if you are a lawyer, align your skills and leverage your work with the products and services of companies owned by the top 5 wealthiest individuals.

Why is this so?

Because where the wealthiest people are, that is where the value sits. That is what people want.

These billionaires are not there by accident.

They are there because the world wants what they are selling.

Between the boomers and millennials, there is a generation that is the cause of our problems.

Gen X.

Born between 1965 and 1980.

They are the parents of ZILLENIALS and Gen Z.

These are the people addicted to evangelical churches, classic FM and Facebook.

They still read newspapers and tune in to the BBC at 6PM.

They are rabidly tribal, worship permanent job employment, and so they forge academic and professional documents to ascend lucrative job groups.

They don't want to retire; they are career employees.

They are the most toxic managers at work with outdated ideas.

Their leadership style is holding daily office meetings, and since someone taught them about Zoom, they also hold virtual meetings even on holidays.

These meetings amount to nothing but them reminding employees about appraisal forms and reporting time.

They are extremely corrupt.

They bribe their way through opportunities. They dislike meritocracy and openly hate people who qualify through hard work and merit.

They sell ancestral land to disinherit their children yet their fathers bequeathed them free land.

At home, if it is a man, his wife has conquered him. She runs the house, and he is so scared to confront her.

If it is a woman, she is endlessly angry, chaotic and choleric, but so holier than thou on Sunday in church.

They teach their children bad manners because they want them to become rich overnight.

The Gen X are the root cause of our political, economic, and social collapse.

This is the "hear nothing, see nothing, do nothing" generation.

Ukitembea kwa izi estates utapata ziko well organised, like barabara ziko well tarmacked, signs ziko everywhere hata huwezi potea. Halafu without forgetting unapata waste bins ziko kwa every corner ya barabara. Na uko people who drive strictly follow traffic rules za uko ndani, huwezi pata mtu ame park kwa pavements ama kupitia kwa pavements. Yaani people are well disciplined. But do you know who stays there?.... the people staying there are the same people working in government offices who don't comply to the policies, who take years to implement issues related to common mwananchi. Utapata uko kuna mtu anafanya kazi kwa ministry of transport sector but hajawai hata implement simple things like ku make sure barabara ziko tarmacked na kukua well marked na signs properly installed. Halafu hawa ndio same people hupitia kwa pavements on public roads wakichelewa kuenda kazi. Shame on them.
