Jay and Sam(catholic) played a huge part in me leaving Islam and becoming orthodox.

I think it’s hard to be perfect in theology/etc but people like Jay are a “first look” to many that have no prior knowledge of a “ancient church idea” Growing up Baptist I didn’t know anything but it.

When I went to Islam I saw both of them debate my “hero’s of the faith” & they easily destroyed the Muslim arguments. So people might hate on them for their beliefs about the theology whatever it might be, but I am forever grateful for God using them to get me out of Islam.

i’ll never forget my friend telling me she used to cry at church because she thought she felt the Holy Spirit, only to feel the exam same way at a one direction concert.

she’s now an atheist.
