When you vote on Tuesday (or before!), you can choose a future where:
🔹 Billionaires pay their fair share of taxes
🔹 Workers have the freedom to form a union and bargain collectively
🔹 The Black employment rate rises
🔹 Wages for working families grow
We’re just 5 days away from the most consequential election in years. There’s never been more at stake for workers, their families, and our communities.

Mass deportations could spike inflation, lower the GDP and lead to massive job losses for U.S.-born workers.

Trump’s Project 2025 would let states bypass laws protecting children from harmful working conditions ⚠️

Project 2025, a far-right plan for the next Republican president, seeks to repeal child labor protections under the guise of parental rights, raising alarms about children’s safety.

In Project 2025’s overtime provisions, “Workers do not get any additional benefits. It is only employers who get additional benefits,” said EPI Action's @hshierholz. “[Project 2025] is an extremely anti-overtime agenda.”

Project 2025 is a bad deal for the country no matter how you slice it. A recent analysis by @EPIaction took a closer look at one of Project 2025’s goals — banning public sector unions — and found that it would cost workers nearly $80 billion. https://t.co/QkEXlVpqbX
Keep this in mind as you head to the polls:
✨The economy performs much better during Democratic presidential administrations than during Republican ones✨

Trump once said that the wages of US workers are “too high.”
He praised the idea of illegally firing workers who are on strike.
He said he "hated to give overtime" to his own workers and "wouldn't pay it."
But go on about how Trump is the candidate for working people. Hello?
Since 2017, the 15 largest corporate beneficiaries of Trump's tax cuts have spent $839 billion on stock buybacks.
These buybacks didn't create more jobs, increase wages, or grow the economy — but they did juice CEO pay.
Nothing trickled down to workers.
If you make less than $360,000 per year, your taxes will actually INCREASE under Donald Trump.
Anyone making more than $360,000 will get a tax cut.
Trump's pitching more trickle-down economic nonsense, but please tell me again that he's the candidate for working people.
We don't need to guess how a second Donald Trump presidency will affect the lives of working people. During his four years as president, Trump continually attacked workers' rights and decimated the @NLRB.

✅ The average tax cut from Harris’s proposals for a middle-income household (income range $55,100-$94,100) would be $1,980
❌ Trump’s plan would raise that middle-class household’s taxes while cutting taxes for the top 1% by over $36,000
🧵 Our friends at @iteptweets broke down the Harris and Trump tax plans:
❌ Trump’s plans would RAISE taxes on 95% of Americans while slashing taxes for the top 5%
✅ Harris’ tax plan would CUT taxes for 99% of Americans & raise taxes on the wealthiest 1% (income above $914,900)
NEW: Vice President Kamala Harris' tax plans would, on average, raise taxes on the richest 1% while cutting taxes for all other income groups.
Americans making between $55,100 and $94,100 would see an average tax cut of $1,980 in 2026. https://t.co/AIA7sIwgLb
Gov. Tim Walz said it best — expanding Medicare to cover home care is a damn good idea. Seniors deserve to age in their homes with dignity, especially in rural areas where access to care is limited. 👏
If Republicans win a majority in Congress, they plan to:
❌ Cut $1.2 trillion from Medicare
❌ Cut $4.5 trillion from Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), & the Affordable Care Act
Does that sound like they care about working people?

The Republican plan for Congress would raise the retirement age and cut $1.5 trillion from Social Security benefits
That's TRILLION. With a T.
Don't be fooled by Republicans' claims: they don't care about seniors, and they don't care about you
