Do people not realize that Medusa was treated very wrongly, and people still think of her as the bad guy, when all she needed was someone to really love her?

What I really liked about this is that they could actually depict the sadness Medusa faced in her face. Turning people to stone was something which was out of her control. The curse made her do that, but every time we see her “human” face, there’s always an underlying sadness.

Something I also love about this movie’s Medusa; her choice of bow and arrow for a weapon is extra appropriate because it takes a decent amount of strength to use a bow, and snakes are almost entirely made of muscle.

I also like that she doesn’t just stand around waiting for someone to look at her. She actually fights and knows how to use her weapon.

When Medusa finally finds a person that can be her friend without turning to stone when he looks at her, he tries to blow up Medusa. Honestly, she really couldn’t catch a break.

A lady left her marriage of just 2 months old because the husband told her to drop the key to the house her father gave her as a gift for her birthday… The husband said the name written on the documents should be changed to his and the keys given to him, the lady didn’t agree to it and said what belongs to her, is for her not anyone else…not the family, just her and the husband said she was being disrespectful and if she wasn’t going to drop the keys the marriage is ending… the lady agreed to it and left.

I was halfway through my lunch when HR emailed me asking me to come to a meeting room.

No explanation.

Just:

“Please come upstairs when you’re available.”

I assumed it was something routine.

When I walked in, there were two people already sitting at the table.

One of them had a printed copy of an email in front of her.

She pushed it toward me.

“Did you send this?”

I read it.

“Yes.”

“It was sent to the client?”

“Yes.”

She nodded slowly.

“Do you remember what was attached?”

“The final project report.”

“Anything else?”

I thought about it.

“No.”

She turned the paper around.

“There was another attachment.”

I looked at the filename.

It was a payment approval document.

I had never seen it before.

“That isn't mine.”

The room went quiet.

HR asked, “Are you sure?”

“Absolutely.”

She opened her laptop and showed me the email in the company system.

My name was listed as the sender.

My signature was at the bottom.

Even the formatting looked exactly like the emails I normally send.

But I knew I hadn't written it.

Then I noticed the timestamp.

The email had been sent at 2:18 a.m.

I was asleep.

I told them that.

One of the people at the table said, “That doesn't necessarily mean anything.”

I looked at him.

“I don't work at 2:18 in the morning.”

HR scrolled further down.

“There’s something else.”

She opened the attachment.

It authorized a $180,000 payment to a company I had never heard of.

And somehow, my employee ID was listed as the person who approved it.

I immediately said, “I didn't approve this.”

Nobody spoke.

Then HR asked the question that made my stomach drop.

“Have you ever given anyone access to your computer?”

“No.”

“Your password?”

“No.”

“Your email?”

“No.”

She closed the laptop.

“Then we have a much bigger problem.”

I asked what she meant.

She looked at the other two people before answering.

“The payment was processed yesterday.”

I just stared at her.

“So why am I being questioned about it?”

HR hesitated.

“Because the company didn't discover the payment.”

“They discovered that you tried to reverse it this morning.”

I almost laughed.

“I didn't reverse anything.”

She turned the laptop toward me.

There was another email.

Sent from my account.

This time, the subject line was:

“Please investigate the unauthorized payment.”

And the strangest part?

That email had been sent before the payment was even made.

While the movie diluted the narrative into a teen romance comedy with a hasty Slughorn subplot, the book’s true narrative engine is the dark, methodical exploration of Tom Riddle’s descent into Voldemort through Dumbledore’s Pensieve lessons.

Filming slashed crucial memories that defined his character -like the tragic squalor of the Gaunt family, his mother Merope using a love potion on the Muggle Tom Riddle Sr., and young Tom chillingly abusing other orphans at Wool's Orphanage.
